Bakers! Start your ovens! Oct 11th is the drop off date for our 2025 Apple Pie (neighborly) competition. Sign up at the link - Just 20 places in 2 age categories; Apple Pie Baker's Sign Up. For bakers only, on Saturday, October 11, pies must be delivered to the library between noon-2pm for judging. For bakers and the public, come to the library on Sunday, October 12 at 2pm to celebrate the winners and get a slice (or two) of delicious pie, a donut, or a glass of cider! After all, there's no such thing as a bad apple pie!

Stock up on local produce and artisanal goods while you enjoy music, artisan offerings, our community table . . . and friends and neighbors. Every Sunday, 10AM - 1PM, June 15  - October 12.

The Boxborough Museum at 575 Middle Road is open on second Sundays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Come see Boxborough’s historic treasures including the 1850’s scale which is sensitive enough to weigh a penny and strong enough to calibrate a 50 pound weight, the “new” hearse built in 1881, and the “old” hearse (come and see how old is old).  Admission is free and all are welcome. YV Art Museum, also known as Contemporary Arts International (CAI), is proud to present a solo exhibition of sculpture entitled "Shadow Work" by James D. Cen- namo in the Downstairs Gallery. Join the School Days Off at Danny's Place! Kids in grades K–5 can attend from 9 AM–12 PM and enjoy a day of themed activities, games, and creative fun. Whether the day’s focus is tied to a holiday or simply a special seasonal activity, it’s always a great time to connect, learn, and play. Join Gauri Tandon of Neurovana Health is returning for a second workshop on breathing exercises that are rooted in the centuries-old practice of pranayama. This practice is known to help with better sleep, improved digestion, and reducing stress. Also discussed will be concepts of self-awareness through breathwork and strategies to include in our daily lives to help us feel better. Reflexology is a complementary health therapy involving applying gentle pressure to specific points on the hands, feet, and ears to promote relaxation and promote healing and balance in other parts of the body. The Acton Community Services Office within the Department of Health and Human Services, in partnership with MetroWest Legal Services, will host a monthly housing legal clinic beginning in January.  Housing Legal Clinic appointments will begin on Jan. 14 and will be held on the second Tuesday of each month from 4-6 p.m. at the Human Service and Senior Center, 30 Sudbury Road Rear.
