Revolution Community Yoga: Fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Association

Revolution Community Yoga is hosting Yoga for Brain Health & Alzheimer’s Awareness, a fundraiser to support the Alzheimer's Association on Saturday, March 7, 1:30 to 3 p.m. The event starts with a short educational talk from Rick Hobson of the Alzheimer’s Association, followed by a gentle, accessible yoga program focused on movement, breath work and meditation for brain health by Janet Spiegel, RCY yoga teacher. Suggested donation is $35-$45 with 100% of the proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Association. EmerSong Annual A Cappella Festival

The Friends of Emerson Health is pleased to present its 8th annual EmerSong – an A Cappella Festival. High school, college, and adult a cappella groups, including those from Concord, Weston and Lexington, will come together for a lively music festival using only their voices as instruments. Proceeds from EmerSong will benefit behavioral and mental health patients at Emerson, including relaxation tools for adolescents seen in the Emergency Department, music and gardening therapy groups for patients, and staff education and training. Some amazing groups from local universities and high schools will fill out this year’s bill in both shows, including
