SUMMARY:Spring Book Sale: Friends of the Acton Libraries
DESCRIPTION:Time to stock up on your summer reading! \nPlease join us at the spring book sale at Acton Memorial Library! \nThe Friends of the Acton Libraries is a 100% volunteer organization that has a unique purpose; we donate funds to Acton’s 8 elementary middle-school and high-school libraries\, as well as the 2 town libraries. Our book sales and other activities raise money which we then distribute to these 10 entities. SUMMARY:Richard Amir Piano Concert @ Acton Woman's Club
DESCRIPTION:Richard Amir entertained locally in early March.  He was such a hit\, the Acton Woman’s Club invited him to perform for the public in the upstairs ballroom of their Federalist-style antique Clubhouse.  Richard’s performance is a blend of music and storytelling.  After a 40 year career in business\, Richard taught himself to play the piano at age 66 and discovered a new career. \nThis free performance is offered to the public to celebrate the 110th  Anniversary of the founding of the Acton Woman’s Club\, with financial support from the Acton/Boxborough Cultural Council.  For more information about the Club\, go to https://theactonwomansclub.org/
